Saturday, July 2nd – Las Vegas (LVCaveman) – The Vegas Knight Hawks put on a dominant display in their final home game of the season, trouncing the Bay Area Panthers with a resounding 65-33 victory at the Dollar Loan Center. The Knight Hawks’ explosive offense led by quarterback Cameron Dukes proved to be too much for the Panthers to handle.

Right from the opening whistle, the Knight Hawks asserted their dominance. Dukes wasted no time, connecting on the first of his six touchdown passes to ignite the scoring frenzy. Devonte Sapp-Lynch also contributed with a rushing touchdown, pushing the Knight Hawks to an early 14-point lead. However, the Panthers swiftly answered back with a rushing touchdown of their own and a remarkable kickoff return, keeping the game within reach.
But the Knight Hawks were relentless. Jordan Cronkrite powered his way to another rushing touchdown, and Nolan Kohorst added a field goal to round off the first half. The Knight Hawks’ defense also played a pivotal role, stifling the Panthers and recovering a fumble thanks to the efforts of Kai Higgins. This turnover resulted in yet another touchdown, this time courtesy of Jordan McRae.
As the game progressed, Dukes continued to showcase his exceptional skills, connecting with Katie Cannon for another touchdown. The Knight Hawks’ defense also stepped up, with Devin Washington intercepting a pass to set up Dukes for his fifth touchdown pass, this time finding Casey Allison in the end zone. Momentum swung firmly in the Knight Hawks’ favor when Kalen Hicks recovered an onside kick, leading to Kasey Allison extending the lead with yet another touchdown.
Although the Bay Area Panthers managed to find the end zone with touchdowns from Thomas and Isaac Heard, it was too little, too late to mount a comeback. The Knight Hawks meticulously controlled the clock and capped off their dominant performance with a last-second score, pushing their total to a staggering 65 points.
Dukes, the star of the game, showcased his dual-threat abilities, amassing 315 passing yards and six touchdown passes while leading the team in rushing with 22 yards. Allison and Cannon were standout receivers, each contributing two touchdowns and combining for over a hundred yards in receiving. Allison’s performance was particularly remarkable, setting a Knight Hawks single-game record with nine receptions.
