Mon Laferte

Monserrat Bustamante Laferte, better known as Mon Laferte, was born in Vina del Mar, Chile. At an early age she began to develop her taste for music and singing, and at age 13 she went to study music at the conservatory in Vina del Mar. Shortly after began playing in bars in Valparaiso, she managed to be recognized nationally by a program in Chile where she participated for some considerable time. In 2012 she decided to start a completely different musical career that had formed in Chile and decided to stay in the City of Mexico, which she took as her second home. Her melancholy music, particular wrenching voice and presentations full of energy and power have now positioned her as one of the most viral artists on digital platforms and has also managed to give her a large number of followers. Currently she is working on the production of her next album “Mon Laferte. Vol. 2.” and is touring throughout the country within the #MonLaFrutaTour where she shares the stage with Caloncho.
