The North Carolina native was classically trained in high school. His mother was the organist at the church his family attended and his grandmother was the Choir Director. That combination allowed his musical ear to be advanced at an early age. He first gained public attention in 2016 from his viral singing videos. Samoht took the energy he received from his new fans and created a music catalog to showcase his unique Artistry .
