Eddie Montgomery

You know and love Eddie Montgomery as half of the acclaimed Montgomery Gentry duo. Eddie always feels the presence of Troy Gentry, his honky-tonking partner whenever he takes the stage. Eddie made a promise that the MG sound would go on: Which, at its heart, is what this new solo album – AIN’T NO CLOSING ME DOWN–is all about. The album also includes a duet called HIGHER, with Tanya Tucker, and “AINT SHE BEAUTIFUL”, written by his nephew and John Michael Montgomery’s son, Walker Montgomery.  The man with the thick, honky-tonk voice and hell-raising reputation, the same fellow who salutes the death of his best friend in this album, admits that things change when a guy ages. But when he dons that wide-brimmed black hat, straps on a guitar and climbs onstage with The Wild Bunch, it’s kind of like old times. Come see this magical show on December 15th in The Showroom.
